Atlanta Resident Dives In To ARTvision
Craig Eister purchases custom framed photograph to
benefit the IGLHRC
(ATLANTA - Dec. 26, 2006) Craig Eister is no stranger to raising awareness for charity. “I've been active in the fight against AIDS all the way back to 1984,” he says. “Currently, I serve on the Board of Directors for AIDS Survival Project. I especially like this organization because their mission is based upon empowerment - people deserve to be treated with respect, dignity and empowered with information to make the best choices about their lives.
"I am passionate about any cause that believes in human rights, human lives and ultimately, the love that we can share with each other to make this world a better place.”
Craig purchased "Miles Away," (pictured here), a custom-framed photograph by Will Pollock. Craig is active in Atlanta tennis circles (playing with ATTA, Atlanta’s own gay and lesbian tennis organization). He has thrown an Oscar party for 17 years and recently converted it to a benefit. “I started it as a gathering of friends, and then turned it into a fund-raiser,” he says. “I wanted to support Will’s efforts here, because I admire anyone who uses their talents and gifts to better the community. Bravo for what you are doing!"
