The Heart of the Philanthropist
Betsy Weedon led equally with her heart and
intellect,
inspiring those around her to think, aspire and thrive.

(ATLANTA, Dec. 11) — As some of you know, my aunt, Betsy Weedon, passed away earlier this year. She was a noted philanthropist, poet, art enthusiast and master gardener, living for more than 40 years in the Bay Area (San Francisco and Mill Valley, Calif.) Erudite and warm, Betsy was an expert listener and maintained a singular poise and elegance throughout her life.
In spirit, Betsy is the engine for ARTvision 2006, and has continually moved many of us to create purpose and positive energy -- in our families and valued circle of friends. I hope you'll join me in remembering Betsy as we acknowledge all of our sources of wisdom and inspiration as we toast the beginning of 2007 and well beyond. - Will Pollock
